Field Staff Selection Criteria

Please carefully review the following criteria. You must meet these requirements to be eligible for the position.

Basic Requirements

Must be between 18 and 60 years of age
Must be a Gambian citizen with valid identification
Must be in good physical health for field work
Must have a valid phone number for communication

Education & Skills

Minimum education: Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE or equivalent)
Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
Must be proficient in at least one local language
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills

Technical Requirements

Must have basic computer knowledge and skills
Must have experience using tablets or smartphones
Must own a working smartphone for data collection
Must be comfortable with digital data entry and management

Availability & Commitment

Must be fully available during the entire census period
Must be willing to travel within assigned areas
Must commit to completing the entire assignment
Must be available for training sessions as required

Must understand and maintain data confidentiality
Must demonstrate professional ethics and integrity
Must be committed to accurate data collection
